General Situation The low-pressure trough lies across the lower Central, the East and the upper South into the low-pressure cell over the middle South China Sea while the southwest monsoon prevailing across the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand is strengthening. Isolated heavy rains are forecast in the Central, the East and the South regions.
During 6-11 Oct. 2021, the active low-pressure cell over the middle South China Sea is forecast to the tropical storm and move near Hainan Island, China. People should stay tuned for the weather update.
