General Situation The rather strong southwest monsoon prevails across the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand while the tropical depression covers the middle South China Sea. Isolated heavy rains are possible for the Central, the lower Northeast, the East and the South regions but isolated very heavy rains are expected in the South (west coast). People in risk areas should beware of the severe condition and its accumulation that may cause flash flood and over flows.
The stronger wind waves are likely in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand. The waves are up to 2-3 meters high in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf, about 2 meters high in the lower Gulf, and above 3 meters high in thundershowers. All ships in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers. Small boats in the Andaman Sea keep ashore.
