General Situation The strong southwest monsoon prevails across the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf of Thailand while
tropical depression ?LIONROCK? covers the upper Laos. More rain in the country and isolated heavy rains are forecast in the North, the upper Northeast and the East. People in the risk areas should beware of the severe rain and its accumulation that may cause overflows and flash flood.
The strong wind and waves are likely in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand. The waves are 2-3 meters in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf, about 2 meters in the lower Gulf and above 3 meters in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers. Small boats in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand keep ashore.
Tropical storm ?KOMPASU? over the Pacific Ocean or the eastern Philippines has no effect on Thailand?s weather.
