General Situation The monsoon trough lies across the lower North, the Central and the Northeast regions into tropical storm KOMPASU over the Gulf of Tonkin. Meanwhile, the strong southwest monsoon prevails across the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf of Thailand. Very heavy rains will be likely in some areas of the East and the upper Northeast while isolated heavy rains are forecast for the lower Northeast the Central, and the South (west coast). People in risk areas beware of the heavy rainfall and its accumulation that may cause overflows and flash floods.
The strong wind is likely in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand. The waves are 2-3 meters high in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand, about 2 meters high in the lower Gulf and more than 3 meters high in thundershowers. All ships proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers, and small boats in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand keep shore until 16 Oct 2021.
The tropical storm KOMPASU over the Gulf of Tonkin was centered about 230 kilometers east of Vinh, Vietnam. It is expected to make landfall over upper Vietnam on 14 October. It will decline to a tropical depression and an active low-pressure cell, respectively.

Kalasin, Mukdahan, Maha Sarakham, Roi Et, Yasothon, Amnat Charoen, Surin, Si Sa Ket and Ubon Ratchathani.
Minimum temperature 22-25 C. Maximum temperature 27-30 C.
Variable winds 10-20 km/hr.
Central Part Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani, Chainat,
Lop Buri, Saraburi, Kanchanaburi, Ratchaburi and Samut Songkhram.
Minimum temperature 23-26 C. Maximum temperature 32-33 C.
Southwesterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Eastern Part Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rains
in Nakhon Nayok, Prachin Buri, Sa Kaeo, Chachoengsao, Chon Buri, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat.
Minimum temperature 24-27 C. Maximum temperature 27-32 C.
Southwesterly winds 20-40 km/hr.
Wave height 2-3 meters and above 3 meters in thundershowers.
Southern Part (East Coast) Scattered thundershowers
in Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon and Surat Thani.
Minimum temperature 22-26 C. Maximum temperature 30-35 C.
Surat Thani northward: Southwesterly winds 20-35 km/hr.
Wave height about 2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
Nakhon Si Thammarat southward: Southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr.
Wave height 1-2 meters and about 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern Part (West Coast) Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Ranong, Phang Nga and Phuket.
