General Situation The monsoon trough lies across the East and the upper South regions into the low-pressure cell over Cambodia while the southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf of Thailand. The high-pressure system from China extended to cover upper Thailand. Less rain will be likely for the upper country. Meanwhile, isolated thundershowers are forecast in the lower North, the Northeast, the Central, the South and the East regions.
The winds and wave in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand are weakening with waves 1-2 meters high in the Andaman Sea, about 1 meter in the Gulf of Thailand and more than 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers.
