General Situation The high-pressure system covers the Northeast and the south China Sea while the easterly and the southeasterly winds prevails across upper Thailand. At the same time, the easterly winds prevail across the Gulf and the South. Thundershowers are likely over the country with heavy rains in some of the South. People in the South should beware of the severe condition and its accumulation that may cause flash flood and over flows.

Northern Part Scattered thundershowers mostly in Mae Hong son, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Lamphun,
Lampang, Phayao, Phare, Nan, Tak, Sukhothai, Kamphaeng Phet, Pichit and Phetchabun.

Southeasterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Northeastern Part Isolated thundershowers mostly in Loei, Chaiyaphum, Nakhon Ratchasima,

Southern Part (East Coast) Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Prachuap Khiri Khan,
Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung and Songkhla.

Surat Thani northward : Northeasterly winds 15-30 km/hr.
Wave height about 1 meter and 1-2 meters in thundershowers.
Nakhon Si Thammarat southward : Northeasterly winds 15-35 km/hr.
Wave height 1-2 meters and about 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern Part (West Coast) Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains
in Ranong, Phangnga, Phuket, Krabi, Trang and Satun.
