During 17 - 21 Nov, the weak high-pressure area covers upper Thailand and the South China Sea. Isolated thundershowers and morning fog are forecast over the upper country, morning cool remains in the North and the Northeast. The northeast monsoon that prevails over the Gulf of Thailand and the South is weakening but still isolated heavy rain in the areas. The weak wind and waves are likely in the Gulf, 1-2 meters height, about 2 meters in the thundershowers and about 1 meter in the Andaman Sea. During 22 -23 Nov, another rather strong high-pressure area from China will extend to upper Northeast of Thailand. Isolated thundershowers are first expected in the Northeast after that temperature will drop 2-4 C. The North, the Central and Eastern regions will be affected in the future. The northeast monsoon that prevails over the Gulf of Thailand and the South will strengthen. More rains and isolated heavy rains are likely in the South. The wind and waves will strengthen, about 2 meters height in the Gulf, above 2 meters in the thundershowers.

During 17-21 Nov, people in the upper Thailand transport should proceed with caution in foggy areas. People in the risky areas in the southern region should beware of the heavy rain and accumulated rain during this period. During 22-23 Nov, people in the upper country should take care their health due to the variable weather.
