During 30 Nov ? 1 Dec, the active low-pressure cell over the lower South China Sea is moving westward into the monsoon trough across the middle South of Thailand. Thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rains are expected from the middle South to the lower South.The rather strong northeast monsoon that prevails over the Gulf of Thailand and the South forces the wind waves over the Gulf and the Andaman Sea with 2-3 meters high, above 3 meters high in thundershower areas in the Gulf and about 2 meters high in the Andaman Sea and above 2 meters high offshore. During 2 ? 6 Dec, the monsoon trough will lies across to the Malasia with less rain and still Isolated heavy rains in the lower South.
On 30 Nov, the rather strong high-pressure system from China still covers upper Thailand including from 1 ? 6 Dec, another rather strong high-pressure system from China will extend to over upper Thailand. Cool to cold with strong wind remains in the upper country . 4-6 C drop in temperature over the Northeast and 2-4 C drop in in the North, the Central and the East regions.
Warning
People in the upper country should take care their health due to the variable weather. People in the South should beware of the severe condition and its accumulation that may cause flash floods and overflows. Residents along the Gulf?s shore should watch for inshore surge. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers area throughout the period. Small boats in the Gulf of Thailand keep ashore lasting 2 Dec 2021.
