General Situation The moderate high-pressure system over upper Thailand affects cool to cold in the Northeast but morning cool and light fog in the North, the Central and the East. Cold to very cold is forecast for mountaintops. The minimum temperature of the North mountaintops is in range of 7-14 C while the Northeast ranges by 8-15 C. People should keep healthy due to the variable weather, and all transports take caution in poor visibility. Farmers in the upper North should prepare for crop?s damage. Meanwhile, the weakening northeast monsoon prevails across the Gulf with less rain, and isolated thundershowers are possible for the lower South.
In addition, another high-pressure system covers upper Vietnam and Laos. It is forecast to cover the Northeast of Thailand by 13 December. After that on 14 and 15 December, it will affect the North and the Northeast a decrease by 1-3 C, as well as the Central and the East regions with a decrease by 1-2 C, whereas Bangkok and its vicinity has a slight decrease in temperature.
