General Situation The active low pressure cell over the lower South China Sea near Malaysia. Isolated heavy rains are forecast for the lower South. People should beware of the severe condition that may cause overflows and flash floods.
The rather strong wind forces the waves in the upper Gulf about 2 meters high, in the lower upper Gulf 2-3 meters high, and in thundershowers more than 3 meters high. Meanwhile, in the Andaman Sea, waves 1-2 meters high are likely. People along the Gulf shore should beware of inshore surges. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers. Small boat keeps ashore during 16-18 December 2021.
The high-pressure system over upper Thailand is weakening cause 1-3 C increase in temperature with light fog in the morning. Cool to cold weather is likely over upper Thailand. On mountaintops, cold to very cold is forecast. The minimum temperature of the North mountaintops is in range of 4-12 C while the Northeast ranges by 8-14 C. People should keep healthy due to the variable weather.
