General Situation The moderate high-pressure system cover upper Thailand while the easterly winds prevail over the area. An increase in temperature but cool to cold condition with morning fog are forecast in the North, the Northeast and cool in the Central and the East regions. On mountaintops of the North and the Northeast, cold to very cold is forecast. The minimum temperature of the North mountaintops is in range of 6-14 C while the Northeast ranges by 9-16 C. Meanwhile, the westerly trough moves pass the North of Thailand with isolated rain over the upper country. People should keep healthy due to the variable weather, and all transports take more caution in poor visibility. Farmers in the upper North should prepare for crop?s damage due to isolated rain.
The weak northeast monsoon prevails across the Gulf and the South with isolated heavy rains in the lower South. This weak wind forces the waves in the Gulf and Andaman Sea about 1 meter high and in thundershowers 1-2 meters high. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers.

Eastern Part Morning cool with light fog and thundershowers mostly in Chanthaburi and Trat.
Minimum temperature 21-23 C. Maximum temperature 28-34 C.
Easterly winds 15-30 km/hr.

Southern Part (East Coast) Upper part: Cool in the morning.
Lower part: Scattered thundershowers mostly in Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat,
Phatthalung, Songkhla, Yala and Narathiwat.
