During 23 - 26 Dec, the high-pressure system which covers upper Thailand is weaken, 1-3 C increase in temperature with morning fog in the upper country. In addition, the westerly trough will cover through the North, the upper Northeast and the Upper Central, southeasterly wind that prevail over the lower Northeast, the East and the lower Central will cause isolated rain in these areas. The northeast monsoon prevails over the gulf of Thailand and the Andaman Sea is weaken. Wind and waves in the gulf of Thailand and the Andaman Sea will weaken, wave height about 1 meter and above 1 meter in the thundershower areas.
During 27 - 29 Dec, the rather strong high-pressure system from China will extend to cover upper thailand beginning in the Northeast and the East cause 2-5 C decrease in temperature with windy are forecasted in the Northeast and the East. 1-4 C decrease in temperature is forecasted in the North and the Central on the next day. The northeast monsoon prevails across the gulf of Thailand and the Andaman Sea will strengthen, causing wave height are 1-2 meters and about 2 meters in thundershowers areas in the gulf of Thailand and the Andaman Sea. Thundershowers still remain in the South through the period.
