General Situation The weak high-pressure system covers upper Thailand. 1-3 C increase in temperature with fog in the morning is likely over upper Thailand but cool to cold condition in the North and the Northeast, cool in the Central and the East regions. On mountaintops of the North and the Northeast, cold to very cold is forecast. The minimum temperature of the North mountaintops is inrange of 6-15 C while the Northeast ranges by 9-16 C. All transports take more caution in poor visibility.
Meanwhile, the southeasterly winds prevails over the lower Northeast and the East with isolated rain in the areas. The weak northeast monsoon prevails across the Gulf and the South cause less rain in the South.
During 26 - 30 Dec 21, the rather strong high-pressure system from China will extend to cover upper Thailand cause isolated thundershowers in the first. After that drop 2-5 C in temperature with strong wind is likely in the Northeast, the North, the Central and the East.
