During 29 - 31 Dec 2021, the rather strong high-pressure system from China remains cover upper Thailand, causing cool to cold and strong winds. During 30-31 Dec 2021, the westerly trough will moving pass the upper North of Thailand cause isolated thundershowers and gusty wind. During 1 - 4 Jan 2022, the another high-pressure system from China will extend to upper Thailand, causing cool to cold, strong winds and decreasing in temperature by 1-3 C.
The northeast monsoon prevails across the gulf of Thailand and the South will strengthen during 30 Dec 2021 ? 1 Jan 2022. There will be more rain with isolated heavy rain in the lower South. Wave height about 2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershowers areas in the Gulf of Thailand. During 2-4 Jan 2022, the low pressure cell wiil be moving near the Malaysia cause the lower South has continue rainfall
The wind wave in the Gulf 1-2 merters high and above 2 meters in thundershowers areas.
Warning
People in the upper country should stay healthy due to the unstable weather and strong wind through the period. During 30 Dec 2021- 1 Jan 2022, people in the lower South should aware of the heavy rainfall and all ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers.
