General Situation The rather strong high-pressure system covers upper Thailand. Cool to cold condition, with strong winds and an decrease in temperature 1-2 C are forecast in the area. On mountaintops of the North and the Northeast, cold to very cold is forecast. The minimum temperature of the North mountaintops is in range of 4-12 C while the Northeast ranges by 7-14 C. The westerly trough move pass the upper North with isolated thundershowers. People in the upper country should keep healthy due to the variable weather.
The strengthening northeast monsoon prevails across the Gulf and the South. More rain and isolated heavy rains are possible for the lower South. The strong wind forces the waves in the upper Gulf 1-2 meters high, lower Gulf about 2 meters high, in thundershowers above 2 meters high and Andaman Sea about 1 meter high, 1-2 meters offshore. People in the lower South should beware of the severe condition and its accumulation that may cause flash flood and over flows. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers area.
