During 30 - 31 Dec 2021, the rather strong high-pressure system from China still covers upper Thailand, causing cool to cold with strong winds. During 30-31 Dec 2021, the westerly trough will move pass the upper North with isolated thundershowers and gusty wind. During 1 - 5 Jan 2022, another high-pressure system from China will extend to over upper Thailand causing cool to cold, strong winds and a decrease in temperature by 1-3 C.
During 30 Dec 2021 ? 1 Jan 2022 the strengthening northeast monsoon prevails across the Gulf of Thailand and the South. More rain with isolated heavy rain is likely in the lower South. The moderate wind forces the waves in the Gulf about 2 meters high and in thundershowers above 2 meters high. During 2-4 Jan 2022, the low-pressure cell covers lower part of South China Sea or eastern part of the Malaysia with isolated thundershowers in the lower South. The weak wind forces the waves in the Gulf 1-2 meters high and in thundershowers about 2 meters high.

People in the upper country should keep healthy due to the variable weather throughout the period. During 30 Dec 2021- 1 Jan 2022, people in the lower South should beware of the severe condition and its accumulation that may cause flash flood and over flows. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers area.
