Weather Forecast Weather Forecast: During 13 - 18 Jan 2022, the high-pressure system that covers upper Thailand and South China Sea is weakening caused morning fog over the area. Morning cool remains in the North, the Northeast, the Central, the East including Bangkok and vicinity. Cold to very cold on the mountaintops in the North with minimum temperature 6-14 C and cool to cold on the mountaintops in the Northeast with minimum temperature 9-15 C are forecast. During 15 - 17 January, the westerly trough will be moving pass the upper North with isolated thundershowers with gust in the area.
The moderated northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf and the South with more rain in the lower South. The wind and waves over the Gulf of Thailand will strengthen throughout of period while the waves in the lower Gulf 1-2 meters high and in thundershowers about 2 meters high.
Warning Warning: People over upper Thailand should be careful of their health due to variable weather. All transport takes more caution in poor visibility. All ships over the Gulf of Thailand should proceed with caution throughout of period. During 15 - 17 Jan 2022, people over the North should beware of isolated thundershowers.
