Weather Forecast During 13 - 16 Jan 2022, the weak high-pressure system that covers upper Thailand and South China Sea caused morning cool with fog over the area. Cold to very cold on the mountaintops in the North with minimum temperature 6-14 C and cold on the mountaintops in the Northeast with minimum temperature 9-15 C are forecast. During 15 ? 18 January, the westerly trough will be moving pass the upper North and upper Northeast with isolated thundershowers with gust in the area. During 17 - 19 Jan 2022, another high pressure system from China will extend to the upper country. Cool to cold in the North and the Northeast with 1-3 C drop and strong wind while morning cool with 1-2 C drop and strong wind in the Central, the East including Bangkok and vicinity
The moderated northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf and the South with more rain in the lower South. The wind and waves over the Gulf of Thailand will strengthen throughout of period while the waves in the lower Gulf 1-2 meters high and in thundershowers about 2 meters high.
Warning People over upper Thailand should be careful of their health due to variable weather. All ships over the Gulf of Thailand should proceed with caution throughout of period.
