General Situation The westerly and southeasterly winds cover the upper North cause isolated rains in the area. The weak high-pressure system covers upper Thailand and the South China Sea. Cool with morning light fog are likely over the country. On mountaintops of the North and the Northeast, cold to very cold is likely. The minimum temperature of the North mountaintops is in range of 7-16 C while the Northeast ranges by 9-16 C. All transport takes more caution in poor visibility. The northeast monsoon across the Gulf of Thailand and the South with isolated light rains possible for the South.
During 15 ? 18 January, the westerly trough will be moving pass the upper North and the upper Northeast with isolated thundershowers and gusty winds in the area.
