During 18 - 19 Jan 2022, the high pressure system covers the upper North and the upper Northeast while westerly winds prevails over area. Cool to cold and decrease in temperature by 1-2 C in the North and the Northeast regions while morning cool is in the Central and the East. During 20 - 22 Jan 2022, the westerly trough will move pass the North, the upper Northeast and the upper Central while the southerly and the southeasterly winds bring the moisture from the Gulf and the South China Sea to the lower Northeast, the lower Central ,the East including Bangkok and its vicinity. Meanwhile the high pressure will weaken with thunderstorms with gust. During 23 - 24 Jan 2022, another high pressure system from China will extend to the the North and the Northeast while westerly winds prevails over the area. Cool to cold and decrease in temperature by 1-4 C in the North and the Northeast regions while morning cool is in the Central, the East including Bangkok and its vicinity
The weak northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf and the South throughout of period with less rain in the lower South.
