Meanwhile, the southerly and the southeasterly winds prevail over the lower Central including Bangkok and its vicinity and the East regions with isolated rains.
During 28 -29 Jan, the high-pressure system over upper Thailand will weaken while the upper westerly wind prevails over upper Thailand. Cool to cold with fog in the morning and thick patches in some place, increasing in temperature by 1-3 C are likely in the upper country.
During 30 Jan ? 2 Feb, another high-pressure system from China will extended to over upper Thailand and the South China Sea with a decrease in temperature by 1-3 C and strong wind. Cool to cold is likely in the North and cool in the morning is likely in the rest regions. Meanwhile, the Southerly and the southeasterly winds bring the moisture from the South China Sea and the Gulf to the Northeast, the lower Central including Bangkok and its vicinity and the East regions with isolated thundershower.
The weak northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf and the South throughout the period with less rain.
