General Situation The westerly winds at high altitude prevails over the North and the upper Northeast of Thailand Cool to cold in the North and the Northeast with fog in the morning. On mountaintops of the North and the Northeast, cold to very cold is forecast. The minimum temperature of the North mountaintops is in range of 4-12 C while the Northeast ranges by 8-14 C.
The high-pressure system from China has covered the Northeast of Thailand and South China Sea. This forces the southerly and southeasterly winds blowing the humidity from the South China Sea and the Gulf of Thailand to cover the lower North, the Northeast, the Central and the East with isolated thundershowers. People in the upper country should keep healthy due to the variable weather. All transports take more caution in poor visibility.
The weak northeast monsoon prevails across the Gulf with isolated thundershowers over the South.
