General Situation The westerly trough moves through Myanmar and the North of Thailand. The weak high-pressure system over upper Thailand and the South China Sea. Meanwhile, the southerly and the southeasterly winds bring the moisture from the South China Sea and the Gulf to the lower North, the Northeast, the Central including Bangkok and its vicinity and the East regions. Morning fog and thundershowers with gusty winds are likely in the upper country. People should keep healthy due to the variable weather, and should beware of the severe conditions. The southeasterly wind prevailing over the Gulf and the South is weakening. Less rains with isolated heavy rains are likely in the South. People should beware of the severe conditions. All ships in the lower Gulf should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers.
Another high pressure-system from China extend to lower China. It is expected to move to upper Thailand and the South China Sea by tomorrow (19 February 2022). Meanwhile, the southerly and the southeasterly winds bring the moisture from the South China Sea and the Gulf to the upper country with variable weather by possible thunderstorms, gusty winds and hail in the first period after that temperature will decrease.
