Weather Forecast From 18 to 21 February, the westerly trough from Myanmar moves through the North and the upper Northeast of Thailand. Including from 19 to 24 February, another high-pressure system from China will extend to upper Thailand. It will begin to cover the Northeastern and the South China Sea first during 19 - 21 Feb, resulting in southerly and southeasterly winds blow the moisture from the South China Sea and the Gulf of Thailand to cover the lower North, the Northeastern, the Central, the Eastern, including Bangkok and its vicinity. This will cause thunderstorms in the upper Thailand with gusty wind and hails in the early stages. After severe conditions, the temperature will drop by 4 ? 6 degree Celsius in the North and the Northeast while 2-4 degree Celsius in the Central, the East including Bangkok and vicinity.
The easterly wind that prevails over the Gulf and the South will strengthen during 22 - 24 Feb causing isolated heavy rains in the South. The wind wave in the Gulf of Thailand will be stronger. In the lower Gulf of Thailand, wave height is about 2 meters and more than 2 meters in thundershower areas.
Warning During 18 - 21 Feb, people in the upper country should beware of severe conditions by keeping off outdoor places, big trees and unsecured billboards. Farmers should prevent for crop damage. During 22 ? 24 Feb, people in the South should beware of heavy rain and its accumulation. All ships should proceed with caution and keep away from thundershowers.
