During 23 - 27 February 2022, another rather strong high-pressure system covers upper Thailand. Decreasing temperature will be forecast over upper Thailand leading cool to cold weather remain in the North and the Northeast regions while cool weather is forecast in the Central, the East, including Bangkok and its vicinity. The easterly wind that prevails over the Gulf and the South will strengthen while the low-pressure cell over Borneo will move through Malaysia. More rain and isolated heavy rains are likely in the lower South. The wind wave in the Gulf of Thailand will be stronger. In the lower Gulf of Thailand, wave height is likely 2 - 3 meters and above 3 meters in thundershower areas. people in the South should beware of heavy rain and its accumulation. All ships should proceed with caution and keep away from thundershowers while small boats keep ashore.
