General Situation
Another rather strong high-pressure system from China covers upper Thailand and the South China Sea with a 1-2 C decrease in temperature and strong wind. Cool to cold condition remains in the North and the Northeast while morning cool is forecast for the Central including Bangkok and its vicinity, and the East. The stronger easterly and the southeasterly winds prevail across the Gulf and the South while the low-pressure cell will move from Borneo to Malaysia and the lower South. More rain and isolated heavy rains are likely in the South of Thailand. In the Gulf, the wind will be stronger forcing the waves about 2 meters high in the lower portion and more than 2 meters high in thundershowers. People should beware of heavy rains that may cause overflows and flash floods. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers while small boats keep ashore.

Surat Thani upwards : Northeasterly winds 15-35 km/hr.

Southern Part (West Coast) Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains mostly in Ranong, Phangha, Phuket and Krabi.
