General Situation The strong easterly and the southeasterly winds prevail across the Gulf and the South while the active low-pressure cell over east offshore of Pahang, Malaysia, is going to move to Malaysia and the lower South of Thailand with more rain by 25 February. Heavy rains will be likely in many places of the South while very heavy rains are forcast some places. In the Gulf the rather strong wind forces the waves 2-3 meters high in the lower portion and more than 3 meters high in thundershowers. People should beware of heavy rains that may cause overflows and flash floods. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers while small boats keep ashore.
The strong high-pressure system over upper Thailand and the South China Sea brings about a decrease in temperature by 1-3 C and strong winds. Cool to cold condition remains in the North and the Northeast while morning cool is forecast for the Central including Bangkok and its vicinity, and the East regions.

Southern Part (East Coast) Fairly widespread thundershowers. Heavy rains in many places and isolated very heavy rains in Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani and Narathiwat.

Surat Thani upwards : Northeasterly winds 20-35 km/hr.

Nakhon Si Thammarat downwards : Easterly winds 20-40 km/hr.
Wave height 2-3 meters and above 3 meters in thundershowers.
Southern Part (West Coast) Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains
in Ranong, Phangha, Phuket, Krabi, Trang and Satun
