The heat low-pressure cell covers upper Thailand caused hot and haze during the day throughout the period. During 15-17 Mar, thunderstorms with gusty winds and hails are likely in the North and the upper Northeast due to the westerly wave moves to cover these areas while upper Thailand is hot to very hot. Meanwhile, the southerly and the southeasterly winds bring humidity from the Gulf of Thailand and South China Sea to the lower North, the lower Northeast, the East, the Central including Bangkok and its vicinity. Thundershowers are forecast in the areas. For the South, more rain is expected during 18-21 Mar.
