During 16-17 Mar, the westerly trough moves pass over the North and the upper Northeast while upper Thailand is hot to very hot caused thunderstorms, gusty winds and hails are likely in these areas. Southerly and the southeasterly winds bring humidity from the Gulf of Thailand and South China Sea to the lower North, the lower Northeast, the East, the Central including Bangkok and its vicinity. Thundershowers with gusty winds are forecast in the upper country. During 18 - 21 Mar, the southerly and the southeasterly winds still bring humidity from the Gulf of Thailand and South China Sea to the lower North, the lower Northeast, the East, the Central including Bangkok and its vicinity. Thundershowers with gusty winds are forecast in the upper country. During 19 ? 22 Mar, the low-pressure cell over Sumatra will move near the coast of Myanmar and cover the upper Bay of Bengal. More rains in the western part of Thailand and isolated heavy rains are likely for the South. After that, the moderated high-pressure system from China will extend to upper Thailand and the South China Sea. Meanwhile, the southerly and the southeasterly winds prevail over upper Thailand. Hot to very hot occurs in the upper country. Thunderstorms, gusty winds and hails are likely in the upper country. The easterly and the southeasterly winds prevail across the Gulf and the South throughout the period with thundershower. Isolated heavy rain in the South during 19 ? 22 Mar.
Warning People over upper Thailand should beware of severe conditions by keeping off outdoor places, big trees and unsecured billboards. Farmers should prepare for crop damage throughout the period.
