General Situation Another weak high-pressure system from China covers upper Vietnam. It is expected cover to eastern part of the North and the Northeast of Thailand by today (23 March 2022). The southerly and the southeasterly winds prevailing across the lower North, the Northeast, the Central, Bangkok and its vicinity and the East regions is strengthening while the active low-pressure cell has downgraded from tropical depression covers western part of Myanmar. Thunderstorms with gusty wind is forecast over the regions, isolated heavy rains are possible in the North and the Northeast. People should beware of the severe condition by keeping off an open area, big trees and unsecured billboards. Farmers are advised to prepare for crop?s damages.
The southwesterly and the southeasterly winds prevailing across the Andaman sea, the South and the Gulf of Thailand is weakening. With isolated heavy rain for the South. The weakening wind and waves are 1-2 meters high is likely in the upper Andaman Sea, about 2 meters high in thundershowers and about 1 meter high in the lower Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand, 1-2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers area.
