During 1 ? 2 Apr, the rather strong high-pressure system from China will extend to cover upper Thailand and the South China Sea. The southerly and the southeasterly winds bring humidity from the Gulf of Thailand and the South China Sea to cover upper Thailand while hot weather occurs in the upper country. Thunderstorms and isolated heavy rains with gusty winds and hail are likely in upper Thailand. During 3 ? 6 Apr, the rather strong high-pressure system from China still cover upper Thailand. Strong wind and drop in temperature is likely over upper Thailand, 5-7 C in the Northeast and 2-4 C in the North, the Central, Bangkok and its vicinity including the East that will help the weather cool down.
The active low-pressure cell over the middle South China Sea will move through the lower portion of Vietnam and the tip of Indochina. It will then cover southern Thailand on 2 and 3 April. The easterly wind and the northeasterly wind prevail across the Gulf and the South will strengthen. More rains are likely in the South with isolated heavy rain. Meanwhile, the stronger winds force the waves in the Gulf of Thailand about 2 meters high and in thundershowers more than 2 meters high.

During 1 - 2 Apr, people in the upper country should beware of severe conditions by keeping off outdoor places, big trees and unsecured billboards including people should take care their health due to variable weather. Farmers should prepare for crop damage. During 1 ? 3 Apr, people in the South should beware of the severe condition that may cause overflows and flash floods. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers.
