Continuous rain are likely in the upper country. The wind and waves in the Andaman Sea are about 1-2 meters high with about 2 meters offshore, the Gulf of Thailand 1-2 meters high, and in thundershowers above 2 meters high.
During 11-15 May, the southwesterly winds prevail over Thailand, the Gulf, and the Andaman Sea with continuous rain and isolated heavy rain. The weakening wind and waves in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf are about 1 meter high and thundershowers above 1 meter high.
The severe cyclonic storm ?ASANI? over the Bay of Bengal is very likely to move northwestward to the upper Bay of Bengal during 9 -10 May 2022.

People in upper Thailand should beware of thundershowers and isolate heavy rain. Farmers should prepare prevention for crop damage. People in the southern region should be aware of the heavy rain and accumulated rain that may be flashing floods that will occur during this period.
