During 11-16 May, the southwesterly winds prevail over Thailand, the Gulf, and the Andaman Sea with continuous rain and isolated heavy rain. The weakening wind and waves in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf are about 1 meter high and thundershowers above 1 meter high.
The severe cyclonic storm ?ASANI? over central Bengal is moving northwest to make landfalls over central India on 10 and 11 May. The storm does not directly affect Thailand but force the rather strong wind across the country and both seas.

People in the southern region should be aware of the heavy rain and accumulated rain that may be flashing floods that will occur during this period.
