General Situation

The weak high-pressure system covers upper Thailand while the moderate southwest monsoon remains across the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf. Outbreaks of thundershowers with isolated heavy rains are forecast for the North, the Central including Bangkok and vicinity, and the East. People should beware of the severe condition that may cause flash floods and overflows by keeping off outdoor places, big trees and unsecured billboards. All transports take more caution during the phenomena, and farmers should prevent for crop damage. The wind forces the waves in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf about 1 meter high and in thundershowers above 1 meter high. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers.

in Mae Hong Son, Chiang Mai, Lamphun, Lampang, Kamphaeng Phet and Tak.

Northeastern Part Isolated thundershowers mostly in Chaiyaphum, Nakhon Ratchasima,

Easterly winds 10-20 km/hr.

Central Part Fairly widespread thundershowers with isolated heavy rains and gusty winds

in Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani, Chainat, Suphan Buri, Nakhon Pathom,

Samut Songkhram, Samut Sakhon, Kanchanaburi and Ratchaburi.

Minimum temperature 23-26 C. Maximum temperature 32-34 C.

Southeasterly winds 10-20 km/hr.

Eastern Part Scattered thundershowers with isolated heavy rains and gusty winds

in Nakhon Nayok, Prachinburi, Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat.

Southeasterly winds 15-30 km/hr.

Wave height about 1 meter and above 1 meter in thundershowers.

Southern Part (East Coast) Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Surat Thani and Nakhon Si Thammarat.
