During 19 - 24 May, the moderate southwest monsoon that prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf will strengthen. The active low cell over the Gulf of Martaban will move pass Myanmar into the upper North and the upper Northeast during 20 - 23 May. The continuous rains with heavy rains are forecast in the upper country and the South (west coast) including isolated very heavy rains in the North and Central regions. The wind and waves in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf will be stronger. The Andaman Sea, the wind rises the wave up to about 2 meters high and above 2 meters in thundershowers while in the Gulf, 1-2 meters high and about 2 meters in thundershowers.
Warning
People should be aware of the heavy to very heavy rain and accumulated rain that may be cause flash floods and overflows. All ships in the upper Gulf, and the upper Andaman Sea should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers throughout the period.
Northern Part Scattered to fairly widespread thundershowers with solated heavy rains throughout the period.
Isolated very heavy rains with strong winds during 20-22 May.
During 19 - 24 May, southwesterly wind 1-25 Km/hr.

Northeastern Part During 18 - 19 May, isolated to scattered thundershowers.
Southeasterly wind 10-25 Km/hr.
During 20 - 24 May, scattered to fairly widespread thundershowers with isolated heavy rains and strong winds.
Southwesterly wind 10-25 Km/hr.
Minimum temperature 22-26 C. Maximum temperature 27-34 C.
Central Part Scattered to fairly widespread thundershowers with isolated heavy rains throughout the period and
isolated very heavy rains with strong during 21 - 23 May.

During 20 - 24 May, southwesterly wind 10-25 Km/hr.

Eastern Part Scattered to fairly widespread thundershowers with isolated heavy rains throughout the period.

Wave height about 1 meter and above 1 meter in thundershowers.
During 20 - 24 May, southwesterly wind 15-35 Km/hr.
Wave height 1-2 meters and about 2 meters in thundershowers.

Southern Part (East Coast) Scattered thundershowers throughout the period and isolated heavy rains mostly
in the upper past during 20-22 May.
During 18 - 19 May, southwesterly wind 10-30 Km/hr.
Wave height about 1 meter and above 1 meter in thundershowers.
During 20 - 24 May,
Chumphon upward: southwesterly wind 15-35 Km/hr.
Wave height 1-2 meters and about 2 meters in thundershowers.
Surat Thani downward: southwesterly wind 15-30 Km/hr.
Wave height about 1 meter and 1-2 meters in thundershowers.
Minimum temperature 24-26 C. Maximum temperature 33-35 C.
Southern Part (West Coast) Scattered thundershowers throughout the period and isolated heavy rains mostly in the upper past.
During 18 - 19 May, southwesterly wind 15-35 Km/hr.
Wave height 1-2 meters and about 2 meters in thundershowers.
During 20 - 24 May, Ranong upward: southwesterly wind 20-35 Km/hr.
Wave height about 2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
