The moderate southwest monsoon remains across the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf is strengthening. Thundershowers with isolated heavy rains are forecast for the North, the Northeast, the Central, the East and the South. People should beware of the severe condition that may cause flash floods and overflows. All transports take more caution during the phenomena, and farmers should prevent for crop damage. The wind forces the waves in the Andaman Sea 1-2 meters high and in thundershowers above 2 meters high. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers.
During 20 -23 May 2022, the strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf. Meanwhile, the active low-pressure cell over the Gulf of Martaban will move pass Myanmar to the upper North and the upper Northeast. Thundershower and strong wind are forecast for the entire country with isolated heavy to very heavy rain. People should beware of the severe condition that may cause flash floods and overflows. All transports take more caution during the phenomena. Farmers should prevent for crop damage.

Southern Part (East Coast) Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains
in Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Surat Thani and Nakhon Si Thammarat.
