The rather strong southwest monsoon remains across the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf meanwhile the active low pressure cell covers upper Gulf of Martaban. Thundershowers with isolated heavy rains are forecast for the North, the Northeast, the Central, the East and the South. People should beware of the severe condition that may cause flash floods and overflows. All transports take more caution during the phenomena, and farmers should prevent for crop damage. The wind forces the waves in the Andaman Sea 1-2 meters high and in thundershowers above 2 meters high. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers.
During 20 -23 May 2022, the strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf. Meanwhile, the active low-pressure cell over the Gulf of Martaban will move pass Myanmar to the upper North and the upper Northeast. Thundershower and strong wind are forecast for the entire country with isolated heavy to very heavy rain. People should beware of the severe condition that may cause flash floods and overflows. All transports take more caution during the phenomena. Farmers should prevent for crop damage.

Northern Part Scattered thundershowers with isolated heavy to very heavy rrains in Mae Hong Son, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Lamphun, Lampang, Phayao, Phrae, Sukhothai, Kamphaeng Phet Phitsanulok and Tak.

Northeastern Part Scattered thundershowers with isolated heavy rains mostly in Nong Khai, Bueng Kan,
and Nakhon Phanom.

in Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani, Suphan Buri, Kanchanaburi, Ratchaburi,

Eastern Part Scatterred thundershowers with isolated heavy rains
in Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat.

Southwesterly winds 15-30 km/hr.
Wave height about 1 meters and above 1 meters in thundershowers.
Southern Part (East Coast) Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains
in Phetchaburi and Prachuap Khiri Khan.
Minimum temperature 24-25 C. Maximum temperature 32-35 C.
From Surat Thani northward: Southwesterly winds 15-30 km/hr.
Wave height about 1 meter and above 1 meter in thundershowers.
From Nakhon Si Thammarat southward: Southwesterly winds 10-30 km/hr.

Southern Part (West Coast) Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Ranong and Phang Nga.
