The weak monsoon trough lies across the upper North into the low-pressure cell covers the Gulf of Tonkin. The rather strong southwest monsoon prevails across the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf. Isolated heavy rains will be likely in the North, the Northeast, the East regions. People should beware of the severe condition that may cause flash floods and overflows.
The strong wind waves in the upper Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand, 2-3 meters in the upper Andaman Sea and above 3 meters high in thundershowers while the upper Gulf of Thailand has about 2 meters high and thundershowers have more than 2 meters high. All ships proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers. Small boats in the upper Andaman Sea keep ashore.
