During 25 - 26 May, the monsoon trough lies across upper Laos and upper Vietnam into the low-pressure cell over the coast of upper Vietnam and the Gulf of Tonkin. Meanwhile, the moderate southwest monsoon prevailing across the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf cause the continuous rainfalls in country. The wind and waves in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf are moderate, 2 meters in the upper Andaman Sea, above 2 meters in thundershowers.
During 27 - 31 May, the southwest monsoon prevailing over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf will strengthen. In addition, the monsoon trough lies across over the North into the low-pressure cell over the Gulf of Tonkin. More rain with isolated heavy to very heavy rains is likely in the Northeast, the central, the East and the South. The wind and waves in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf are still stronger, 2-3 meters in the Andaman Sea, the upper Gulf about 2 meters, above 3 meters in thundershowers.

During 27 - 31 May, People should be aware of the heavy rain and accumulated rain that may be cause flash floods and overflows. All ships in the upper Gulf, and the Andaman Sea should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers, small boats should keep ashore in the Andaman Sea.
