During 7 - 9 Jun, the monsoon trough lies across upper Laos and upper Vietnam into the low-pressure cell over the upper Vietnam and the Gulf of Tonkin. Meanwhile, the moderate southwest monsoon prevailing over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf will strengthening. More rain is likely in the upper country and isolated heavy rains is likely in the North, the Northeast, the Central including Bangkok and its vicinity and the East. During 10 - 12 Jun, the low pressure cell covers upper Vietnam while the southwest monsoon will strengthening with thundershower and isolated heavy rain.
The wind forces the waves in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf are likely 1-2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers area throughout the period.
