The monsoon trough lies across Myanmar and upper Laos into the low-pressure cell over the upper Vietnam and the Gulf of Tonkin. Meanwhile, the moderate southwest monsoon prevails across the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf. Thundershowers remain in the country, and isolated heavy rains are forecast for the upper Northeast. People should beware of severe condition.
The wind forces the waves in the upper Andaman Sea are 1-2 meters high and about 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers.
