During 9 - 13 Jun, the monsoon trough lies across Myanmar and upper Laos into the low-pressure cell over the upper Vietnam and the Gulf of Tonkin. Meanwhile, the moderate southwest monsoon is prevailing over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf. Thundershower is likely in the upper country with isolated heavy rains in the North. During 14 - 15 Jun , the monsoon trough will move down to the upper North, the upper Laos into the low-pressure cell over the upper Vietnam and the Gulf of Tonkin. Meanwhile the moderate southwest monsoon remains over the Andaman Sea, The South and the Gulf. More rains are forecast over the upper country with isolated heavy rain in this area and the South.
The wind forces the waves in the Andaman Sea are likely about 1meter high and about 2 meters high in thundershowers area throughout the period.
Warning
People over upper Thailand should beware of the severe condition that may cause flash floods and surface runoff. All transports take more caution during the phenomena. Farmers should prevent for crop damage. All ships in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers area throughout the period.
