The southwest monsoon prevails across the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand whereas the low pressure cell covers upper Vietnam. Thundershowers are likely in the whole country while isolated heavy rains and gusty winds are possible for the Northeast, the Central, the East and the South regions. People should beware of the severe conditions. The weak wind forces the waves in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf about 1 meter high and in thundershowers 1-2 meters high. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers.
