During 28 - 29 Jun, the weak southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf. Less rain is forecast in the upper country mostly in western portions of Thailand and isolated heavy rain is possible in the South. During 30 Jun ? 4 Jul The southwest monsoon over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf will strengthen. Meanwhile, the monsoon trough will lie across the upper portions of the North into the low-pressure cell over the upper Laos and upper Vietnam. More rains with isolated heavy rains are possible in the North, the Northeast, the Central, the East and the South (west coast) regions. The strengthening wind forces the wave in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf are about 2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
The active low-pressure cell covering the upper South China Sea will strengthen and expected to move into lower portions of China during 2 ? 4 Jul 65
