General Situation
The monsoon trough lies across the upper North of Thailand and upper Laos into the low-pressure cell over upper Vietnam. Meanwhile, the southwest monsoon over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf becomes stronger. More rains are forecast with gusty winds in some places of the country while isolated heavy rains are possible for the North, the Northeast, the East and the South (west coast) regions. People should beware of the severe condition. The stronger wind forces the waves in the upper Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf 1-2 meters high and in thundershowers about 2 meters high. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers.
In addition, the tropical depression in the upper South China Sea is likely to intensify to tropical storm moving ashore in southern China on 2 and 3 July.

Northern Part Fairly widespread thundershowers with isolated heavy rains in Mae Hong Son, Chiang Mai,
Chiang Rai, Lampang, Phayao, Phrae and Nan.

Southwesterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Northeastern Part Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains mostly in Nong Khai, Bueng Kan,
Udon Thani, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom, Kalasin, Mukdahan, Roi Et, Yasothon,
Amnat Charoen, Sisaket and Ubon Ratchathani.
Minimum temperature 24-26 C. Maximum temperature 33-37 C.
Southwesterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Central Part Scattered thundershowers mostly in Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani, Suphan Buri,
Kanchanaburi, Nakhon Pathom, Ratchaburi, Samut Songkhram and Samut Sakhon.

Maximum temperature 35-37 C.

Eastern Part Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat.

Southern Part (East Coast) Scattered thundershowers in Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon,
Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Songkhla, Yala and Narathiwat.
Minimum temperature 23-25 C. Maximum temperature 32-35 C.
Surat thani upward: Southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr.
Wave height 1-2 meters and about 2 meters in thundershowers.
Nakhon Si Thammarat downward: Southwesterly winds 15-30 km/hr.
Wave height about 1 meter and 1-2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern Part (West Coast) Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Ranong, Phangnga and Phuket.

Phangnga upwards: Southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr.
Wave height 1-2 meters and about 2 meters in thundershowers.
Phuket downwards: Southwesterly winds 15-30 km/hr.

Metropolitan Scattered thundershowers mostly in afternoon to evening.
