Weather Forecast During 1 ? 2 Jul, the monsoon trough will lie across close to the upper portions of the North, the Laos into the low-pressure cell over upper Vietnam. Meanwhile, the rather strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf. More rains with isolated heavy rain are likely over the country while isolated very heavy rains are possible in the North, the Northeast, the East and the South regions (west coast). The wind forces the wave in the upper Andaman Sea are 2 - 3 meters high and above 3 meters high in thundershowers while about 2 meters high in the lower Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. During 3 ? 7 Jul, the monsoon trough will move up to lie across Myanmar, the upper Laos into the low-pressure cell over upper Vietnam. Meanwhile, the strong southwest monsoon will prevail across the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf. There will be continous rain in overall country with isolated heavy rains. The strong wind forces the wave in the upper Andaman Sea are 2-4 meters high and above 4 meters high in thundershowers. The upper Gulf are 2-3 meters high and above 3 meters high in thundershowers.
Severe tropical storm ?CHABA?over the upper South China Sea is expected to make landfall over the lower portions of China during 2 ? 3 Jul 2022 with no effect on Thailand.
Warning People should beware of the severe conditions that may cause overflows and flash floods and take more caution in thundershowers. All ships over the Andaman Sea and the Gulf should proceed with caution and keep off thundershower should keep ashore and small boats over the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf keep ashore until 6 July 2022.
