During 6 ? 7 Jul, the monsoon trough move up to lie across Myanmar, into the low-pressure cell over southern China. Meanwhile, the moderate southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf. Isolated heavy rains are possible in the East and the South regions. The moderate wind forces the wave in the upper Andaman Sea are about 2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers while the waves in the upper Gulf are 1-2 meters high and about 2 meters high in thundershowers.
During 8 ? 11 Jul, the monsoon trough will move down the North and upper the Northeast into the low-pressure cell over upper China sea. Meanwhile, the southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf will strengthen. More rains are likely in the whole country and isolated heavy to very heavy rains are possible in the North, the Northeast, the Central including Bangkok and its vicinity, the East and the South regions. The strong wind forces the wave in the upper Andaman Sea are 2-3 meters high and above 3 meters high in thundershowers while the waves in the upper Gulf are about 2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
Warning
People should beware of severe conditions that may cause flash floods and overflows and take more caution in thundershowers. All ships over the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf should proceed with caution and keep off thundershower, small boats in the upper Andaman Sea should keep ashore throughout the period.
