During 18 ? 19 Jul, the weak southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf. Meanwhile, the low-pressure cell covers upper Vietnam. Less rains are likely over the country with isolated heavy rains in the East.
During 20 ? 24 Jul, the southwest monsoon prevailing over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf will strengthen. Meanwhile, the monsoon trough will lie across the North, the Northeast and the upper Central. More rains are likely in the whole country and isolated heavy to very heavy rains are likely in the North, the Northeast, the Central including Bangkok and its vicinity, the East and the South regions. The wind and waves in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand will strengthen. The winds forces the waves in the upper Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf up to about 2 meters, 1-2 meters high in the lower Andaman Sea and the lower Gulf and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.

During 20 ? 24 Jul, people should beware of severe condition that may cause flash flood and over flows. All ships in the Andaman sea and the Gulf of Thailand should proceed with caution and keep off thundershower.
