During 1 - 5 Aug, the monsoon trough lies across Myanmar, upper Laos and the upper North into the low-pressure cell over upper Vietnam. Including the moderate southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf. More rains are likely in the country and isolated heavy rains are possible in the North, the Northeast, Bangkok Metropolis and Vicinity, the East and the South regions. The moderate wind and waves in the upper Andaman Sea about 2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers area. During 6 -7 Aug, The southwest monsoon prevailing over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf will strengthen. Including the monsoon trough lie across Myanmar, the North, upper Northeast of Thailand and upper Laos into the low-pressure cell over upper Vietnam and the Gulf of Tonkin. More rains are likely in the whole country and isolated heavy to severe heavy rains are possible in the North, the Northeast, the East and the Southern regions (west coast). The wind will strengthen that forces the wave in the upper Andaman Sea up to 2 - 3 meters high and above 3 meters high in thundershowers and 1-2 meters high in the lower Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf, above 2 meters high in thundershowers.

People in Thailand should beware of severe condition that may cause flash flood and over flows throughout the period. All ships in the Andaman sea and the upper Gulf should proceed with caution and keep off thundershower, small boats in the upper Andaman and the upper Gulf Sea keep ashore during 6 - 7 Aug 2022.
