Thailand Daily Weather Forecast
Distribution On August 3, 2022
General Situation
The monsoon trough lies across the upper North of Thailand into the low-pressure cell over the upper South China Sea. Meanwhile, the rather strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf. Isolated heavy rains are forecast for the North and the South (east coast) while very heavy rains are possible for the East and the South. People should beware of the severe condition that may cause flash flood and overflows.
The rather strong wind forces the waves in the upper Andaman Sea upto 2-3 meters high and in thundershowers more than 3 meters high. The waves in the lower Andaman Sea are 1-2 meters high and more than 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers. Small boats in the upper Andaman Sea keep ashore.
